A tribute to Professor Oliver Rackham

The ECSLAND Conference, European Culture expressed in Sacred Landscapes, was organised to raise awareness on the value of sacred landscapes and cultural heritage. Innovative research and activities carried out by the ECSLAND partners and spiritual communities were illustrated. Researchers, professionals, governmental and NGO representatives engaged in the study, assessment and planning of European sacred landscapes attended this two-day event. The conference was a tribute to Professor Oliver Rackham, maestro of the ECSLAND group.
