STAKEHOLDERS AND SPIRITUAL CIRCLE SASSARI

From the outset, an important aim of the Project has been to create a Religious Network to give voice to the custodians of sacred landscapes in Europe. On the afternoon of the conference, spiritual leaders from the UK and Italy came together to share their perceptions of landscape and sacredness, and their experiences and concerns linked to the management of European sacred landscapes. The Spiritual Circle thus offered delegates a lively and stimulating discussion and an insight into the sacred cultural heritage of Europe, and made an innovative contribution to European landscape strategies.
